Hi, my name is Dennis W. Futch! I am and Enrolled Agent and an Accredited Tax Advisor with over 30 years experience in tax accounting. I attended Valdosta State University majoring in Accounting with a minor in Finance. I am a member of the National Society of Accountants, The National Association of Enrolled Agents, The National Association of Tax Practitioners, the Georgia Association of Public Accountants and is Vice President of the South GA chapter of the Georgia Association of Enrolled Agents.
Republic Bank has awarded The Tax Shop its five star rating we are one of only 164 tax preparers it has awarded with its Responsible Refund Anticipation Loan Award five-star rating. We have also been named the "Best of the Best" for tax preparation and accountancy many times over the years by the readers of the Moultrie Observer.
I was honored to be named a "Software News Tax Star" having been only 1 of 63 accountants to correctly complete a benchmark return for certifying organization at time of my award. I wa also one of only 10 practitioners in the country to be selected to participate in the IRS Practitioner Secure Messaging System Pilot in 2007.
I have written tax articles for several publication and newspapers, like "The Financial News" and "The Observer."
I am happily married and have 2 wonderful children.
